The spread was shot by Mert and Marcus and it seems like the new editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt has a clear vision about the faces that should appear on the cover of French VOGUE.  Alt is going classic again and after using Gisele for the magazine’s April issue, she chooses Kate Moss for May’s cover.

Kate looks rather relaxed while being grabbed by five buff  ’man’ arms and striking one of her signature poses. The supermodel looks hotter than ever in a play on masculine-feminine style, she wears an embellished smoking jacket and tight black trousers.

The colors are fantastic however despite Mossy being man-handled by various men she is wearing an alarming amount of clothing, especially for Ms. Moss, don’t you think?

Inside the issue, the model is photographed wearing the latest haute couture creations – no others words came from my mouth but WOW.

There are creations from Valentino Couture, Armani, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and Versace styled in this shoot, not forgetting to mention some serious Louboutins! (the jealously is nearly unbearable)

I love the juxtaposition between the super flouro shots and the elegantly beautiful black and white shots. I’ve often felt that the French Vogues have produced better photoshoots and are much more daring and experimental with styles.

Well lets face it, we ain’t gonna shake Moss off anytime soon and while she’s concert hoping with fiancée Jamie she is still blowing us away with her maturing good looks.

Who would have thought men looked hot in lipstick? These models pull it off fantastically.

On to the clothing, once again Vivienne Westwood has produced another truly inspiring and beautifully bizarre A/W collection for men.

A traditionally English theme with of course a silent slightly eccentric but refreshing twist, as always. Good old Vivienne!

As much as it is an ‘English’ look in her own words ‘it’s what you put with what’ that makes it stand out.

What are we seeing so far then, a relatively conservative outlook thanks to matching suits, the collection quickly is quickly spiced up with over-sized trousers and a more street-forward stance. Fan-bloody-tastic. I really love this collection. Such a diverse range of offerings!

I am thrilled to see the bow tie back again, personally i collect them, i have a drawer full of them, only ever use them for photoshoots but  i may might start wearing them myself? no? yes? we’ll see. If the occasion calls i suppose.

There is a new take on the Westwood tartan on man bags AND shoes, nice! With some Velcro thrown in there on some tartan trainers, playful spotted ties and finally to top off the traditinal theme, a cigar. Perfection.

A proud (and so she should be) Designer with her models at the finally. Flawless.

As we all know, London Fashion Week is almost here and from the hype so far its set to be more mind-blowing than last years. Starting with the mens’ wear for Autumn/Winter, 2011 this week, (i know we haven’t even gotten through 2010′s winter yet).

So first up to take your breath away… Burberry.

But they are rather magnificent. The structure, the colour, gosh they really do get me going. Maybe that’s just the models.

Anyway, back to fashion, it seems A/W 2011 wont be so dull after all, if we go by this collection anyway. Its exactly what we need on the streets of Glasgow. Makes the boys with sense/style stand out for us ladies to admire.

The colour make such a difference to a man’s outfit. Not big on colour? You wont like the next lot then…

Here is some more from the collection. It includes some cow print, leather, subtle texture, rabbit fur and some Polyeurethane.

So to re-cap on what’s going on for the guys next A/W, double breasted pea coats, strong sculptural silhouettes, single breasted laminated trench coats, dropped shoulders, contrasting panels and some tweed check patterns, not forgetting the tote bags!  Lovely. I’m intrigued to see who adopts these styles.

I have followed his work since he had his first collection at  the graduate show and then on to his first designer collection, all the way back in Spring/Summer 07, when this collection won him (and his sister Tammy) critical acclaim and celebrities flocked to get a piece of the coolest new designs.

Most followers (including Kate Moss) fell in love with his bandage-style tailoring that soon prompted a larger celebrity following.

His first designs were a sort of rivalry of the early 1990′s fashion – which at the time had been left untouched.

The models were set down the catwalk in body-conscious, elastic, neon coloured mini dresses. The deigns were skin tight, frilled and anneled. Female sexuality was a strong projection from these deigns, accentuating  the womanly curves (not that the models really had any).

This then led the high-street to be smothered with similar styles and colours giving clubbers a quick thrill!

Then came his floaty, loosened sihouette designs in S/S 2008, which were a huge step from the previous collection fabrics such as Chiffon was used throughout. Alongside this he also collaberated with highstreet retailer TopShop, in Feb 2007. This collaberation was a sell out (i got my favrioute piece).

My Christopher Kane for Topshop Body suit, it was love at first sight.

He has gone through many different styles, textures, prints since then but the latest S/S 2011 resort collection has GOT to my my ultimate favroite yet without hesitation.

The ‘Galaxy’ print clothing is sumptious. When i look at the detail on the silk garments it makes me go all weak. The zipper finish on the cute doll like skirts it beautiful! (and unusual on silk).

You can buy the skirt here for a mere £775.87. If you have this kind of money to spare, i suggest get it! If not well, you can always ask Santa which is exactly what im going to do.

Another quick reason why i like him? He’s Scottish, just like moi

I saw pretty christmas lights, lots of one track minded people on a mission, more impulse purchasing that i want to believe but to be honest, i can totally 100 % relate to.

This project is by Italian born photographer Massimo Gammacurta, taken from ‘Lolli-pop’ the latest conceptual still life idea.

His lollies are apparently edible icons (mmmmm). The brands are as sweet as candy for the palate and the eye.

The brand association has in fact been replaced by a new meaning through the materiality and the abstract action painting dynamic gestures. When Massimo first distributed his lolli-pops on the Internet as an art experiment, interest amongst bloggers and fashionistas exploded.

With this book, his lolli-pops of world renowned brands are released into the world once again for consumption, but now in print…

I bet you all want a bit of these, i know i certainly do!
